Paperwork presents key insights at Longevity Venture Summit 2022

Paperwork CEO, Kevin Cimring, was selected as a guest speaker at this year’s What’s Next Longevity Venture Summit.  Cimring focused on the financial health of our aging population and how technology can be leveraged to improve our financial wellbeing as we age.

“Thanks to organizations like CFPB and the Financial Health Network, we can measure and track the financial health of different segments of our population. What was of particular interest in recent studies on this subject was the factors that had the most significant impact on a person’s sense of their financial wellbeing as they grew older”, says Cimring.

Among several factors, it has been shown that effective daily money management behaviors is one of the most influential factors on one’s sense of financial wellbeing. The effective day to day money management behaviors mentioned in the research include:

  • Paying bills on time

  • Staying within a budget or spending plan

  • Paying off credit card balances in full each month

  • Checking statements, bills and receipts for errors

  • Maintaining manageable debt loads (including mortgage debt)

  • Routinely saving in liquid accounts

“It’s encouraging to think that technology like Paperwork exists today that can empower people with the knowledge, skills and support systems to instill these behaviors in their daily lives, and even automate these behaviors so that nothing slips through the cracks.”
